The People Behind the Pasta
Two journeys, one podcast. Ananya and Prerna bring their real, unfiltered relationship with sport to every episode.
Co-host & The Watcher
"I'm learning to love sport — and I want to take you with me."
Ananya came to Sport Linguine with a mission: to finally become a proper sports fan. She grew up adjacent to sport — watching snippets of cricket matches, catching Olympic highlights, hearing others talk about their teams — but never feeling like the world of sport was quite for her.
On the podcast, Ananya asks the questions everyone is too embarrassed to ask. She brings a pop-culture lens to sport, drawing connections between athletic achievement, storytelling, fashion, music, and identity. She's the reason Sports Linguine never takes itself too seriously.
Her journey is about discovering what it means to be a sports fan on her own terms — and helping others realize they can do the same.
Co-host & The Player
"I know sport from the boardroom. Now I'm learning it from the field."
By day, Prerna is a sports lawyer with a penchant for brand building — someone who understands the business and structure of sport from the inside. On the podcast, she brings those sharp instincts to a very different question: what does it feel like to actually play?
Prerna is on a mission to get out there — to try new sports, find communities, and experience the physical joy that sport promises. She turns up to beginner classes, asks coaches dumb questions, and sweats through sessions she's completely unprepared for. She's curious, competitive with herself, and deeply invested in what barriers keep people — especially women in India — away from the game.
Her journey is proof that it's never too late to find a sport that feels like yours.
